Christmas tree light switch on at Leadenhall Market
The Lord Mayor of London is set to switch on the Christmas lights at the City of London’s enchanting Leadenhall Market on Thursday, 14 November 2024, starting at 5:30pm. The much-anticipated annual switch-on ceremony will feature the Lord Mayor’s speech and the official lighting at 6pm, revealing the stunning 18ft giant real Christmas tree situated beneath the breathtaking central star-covered atrium of the Victorian market.
The dazzling Christmas tree will be adorned with a color-changing LED light display, perfectly complementing the large baubles and beautiful fir tree garlands throughout the Market. Additionally, the twinkling light tunnel will return, adding festive cheer to Beehive Passage.
