Managing Menopause

An expert-led session with Hertility for World Menopause Day, sponsored by BGRE

An estimated 1 million women leave the workplace each year due to menopause symptoms, often because of a lack of knowledge and support at work and at home. This Menopause Awareness Month, we’ve partnered with Hertility for an in-person session designed for everyone – whether you’re navigating menopause yourself, supporting a partner, friend or colleague, or simply want to understand it better. With people potentially spending a third or more of their lives post-menopause, understanding the transition and the support available matters. Join us to learn what the menopausal transition can look like, what support exists and how to access it – for yourself or someone you care about.

What will be covered:

  • What perimenopause and menopause actually are
  • What causes menopause, and when it typically happen
  • Common symptoms and their health implications
  • How to manage symptoms, including treatment options like HRT
  • What it means for people at work, and what good support looks like
  • Q&A with the expert speaker and a registered nurse
