Join us for a week-long celebration in partnership with Verte from the 19th – 23rd May at Hypha x Eastern City Studios. This clothes swap invites you to refresh your wardrobe sustainably while discovering new ways to care for, customise, and fall back in love with your clothes.

Alongside the swap, we’re hosting a curated programme of complimentary, hands-on workshops designed to inspire creativity, extend the life of your garments, and redefine your personal style.

CLOTHES SWAP

Bring up to five items of adult clothing and 10 items for children (up to age 12) to exchange with our in-store clothing swap. Please note, no accessories will be accepted for adults.

How it works

Step 1 – Choose your items
Choose wisely, up to five items, of those pieces you love but just don’t wear anymore and bring them along.

Step 2 – Claim your tokens
Depending on the quality of your items, Verte will give you a corresponding number of tokens. It’s a sliding scale depending on brand, quality and condition.

Step 3 – Let’s go shopping
Once we open the rails, go shopping!
We rotate stock throughout the swap to keep the rails fresh for the entire event.

REPAIR SERVICES

We want to help keep all items in use for longer, so have you got something which needs fixing or something which no longer fits? Bring along any two clothing items which need minor alterations or repairs to discuss with our seamstress. See FAQs for more details.

WORKSHOPS

• Fabric Framing Workshop

Create your own maximalist home décor piece using repurposed textiles. Guests will receive an A4 frame with a photo mat designed for an A3 insert and can choose from a selection of fabrics to wrap and transform into a bold, one-of-a-kind artwork.

• Personal Colour Analysis 1:1 Session

Join us for a curated programme of complimentary, hands-on workshops in partnership with Verte that are designed to inspire creativity, extend the life of your garments, and redefine your personal style.

Discover the colours that truly suit you. In these 1:1 sessions, our expert Tamsin will guide you through colour theory and help identify your personal palette, empowering you to shop more intentionally and confidently, including within the swap itself.

Perfect if you’ve ever wondered: Why some colours make you look vibrant, while others wash you out, which colours to look for when shopping & how to build a wardrobe that really suits you.

• Clothing Repair Workshop

Learn essential repair techniques to extend the life of your wardrobe. This drop-in session covers mending holes, fixing hems, and replacing buttons, with guidance tailored to different fabrics and garments. Participants will receive printed guides and a take-home repair kit including needles, thread, buttons, safety pins, a tape measure, and a needle threader.
